North Shore Folk Festival, Salem, MA

"Displaying the intricacies of Paul Simon's masterful guitar work, married with an American songwriting sensibility of Pete Seeger (and/or a travlin' Woody Guthrie), Kevin G. Moore's interpretive singer/songwriter stylings gives you a contemporary musical perspective of our nations songbook.:

Marmony Hill Performing Arts Foundation, MA

"He is more than a thoughtful songwriter; he brings depth and soul on a level with which most songwriters would never dare to express, with an honesty of heart that reveals the most cloaked intentions and motivations.  A man of kindness and gentle affections, he is well-respected and admired by his peers.  His performances always draw deepening interest from every heart and soul so touched."

Anchorage Daily News - Anchorage, AK

"I caught Kevin G. Moore's show at Organic Oasis on Friday night.  With no opening act, Kevin played for two and a half hours with only a fifteen minute break.  Just a man and his guitar kept the audience engaged with song and story."
"Kevin's performance was refreshing.  He poured his heart out on stage in a variety of different styles; calm smooth to belting blues vocals, melodic finger-picking to percussive flatpicking."
"Kevin will be leaving Alaska soon, so I highly recommend that you catch a show before he's 'Gone Missing'."
- Anchorage Daily News, Anchorage, Alaska

Acoustic Showcase - Lexington, MA

"Kevin is an excellent singer songwriter with a pleasant voice, satixfying guitar work (both picking and strumming, alternate and standard tuning), and has a great song selection.  His music is both quiet and strong conveyed with feeling and conviction.  We particularly enjoyed is original ;That's my child' and his moving rendition of 'The Water is Wide'.  Kevin has got a nice rapport with his audience; understated, quietly humorous; a nice counterpoint to his songs.  Another great performer we'll keep having back."

Music in Melrose - Melrose, MA

"A Wakefield resident, Kevin made a big splash recently with a strong opening set at Linden Tree Coffeehouse.  He plays well-crafted original songs with a variety of guitar styles and his easy-going demeanor makes him a crowd favorite."

Lynn Happens, Lynn, MA

First up was folk artist Kevin G. Moore.  I thought I recognised a local reference here and there in his lyrics, but none more obvious than the song called 'Downtown Crossing', an engaging but sad tale of the life of a homeless man.:

Born and raised in Wakefield, Massachusetts, Kevin G. Moore sing songs that connect to life and coping with the struggles it brings.  He has performed from Alaska to Boston and many points between.  He has been compared to many artists while holding a unique style of his own.
